Preparation Workshop

A preparation workshop took place in Darmstadt on October 1-2, 2009. More than 50 scientists from all over Germany participated in this meeting.
In addition to presenting the objectives and vision of the SPP, the scientific perspectives were identified and it was developed how every participating researcher could contribute to the objectives of the SPP.
So the workshop provided orientation to researchers who were interested in submitting project proposals and served as a starting point to initiate collaborations between groups at different institutions.
